Live Music
First Fridays Market

The First Friday of every Summer month (Jun-Sept) comes alive in Downtown Spearfish. Live music fills the street and Local Artists show off their talent. From painters to sculptors, photographers to carvers, there is something for every taste. Speaking of taste, be sure to visit the Farmers Market featuring the best local grown produce and regionally harvested fruit. Bring the kids - we'll have a Moonwalk-Castle Bouncer each night. Bring the adults - we have special glasses for a cold beer to be enjoyed on the street listening to the music.

We have our best line-up ever and are look forward to great entertainment and family fun.

Check out the line up posting here May 15th, 2009 for this years line up!

Celebrate the onset of Fall in Beautiful Spearfish. Join our merchants downtown and enjoy the great sidewalk sales and hometown hospitality. Harvest Festival 2009 is September 26th and everything is shaping up for another 'bumper crop' of festivities.

Joining the downtown business will be numerous craft and food vendors, as well as local growers marketing their produce. Pick up your Fall decorations and your Halloween pumpkins while enjoying everything the Harvest Festival has to offer.

Don't miss the quilt show at Dakota Quilt or the collectables exhibit at Matthews Opera House.  Antique cars line the streets, don't miss your chance to see some classics.

Entertainment also appears in the form of live bands and dancers. Check back for a listing of performers and events.

Holidazzle Light Parade and Chil Feed

Holiday Light Parade The brightest event ever to hit the downtown area is the Black Hills Corp and Black Hills Power and Light sponsored Holidazzle Light Parade. Held the 2nd Friday of every December, the Holidazzle Parade attracts over 40 illuminated floats and awards prizes in 3 categories. Immediately following the parade is the community chili feed, where the Downtown Merchants show their appreciation for your patronage by offering a free chili feed to the public. Pepsi Cola joins in the efforts by providing the soda for the event, and the downtown restaurants The Bay Leaf Cafe extends their efforts in making the chili. It's our gift to the community and truly a wonderful event to be a part of - we hope you can join us!
